Practice Specialty Expo
In March of each year, the Office of Career Strategy and Advancement sponsors
its annual Practice Specialty Expo to bring students and attorneys together for
informal exploration of legal career paths. The Practice Specialty Expo is
an educational event, not a job fair. A diverse array of attorneys in
private practice and public service are stationed at information tables to talk
with students about their own specialty niches and the day-to-day practice of
law in those fields. Students and attorneys get the opportunity to have a
candid exchange outside typical recruiting contexts. Refreshments are
served throughout the evening.
