Environmental Policies

Food is not permitted in the Law Library.

Beverages may be consumed in the library except on the main floor, in the computer labs and the computer carrels. Beverages must be in covered containers (i.e., water bottles and thermal mugs with lids). Disposable cups, aluminum cans, and glass containers are not permitted.

Noise in the Law Library should be kept to a minimum. If someone reports unacceptable noise in the library, a staff member will remind the persons involved of others’ need for a quiet study environment. If conversation is required for a group project, use of a study room is suggested.

Cellular Phone usage in any part of the Law Library is strictly prohibited. Please set your phones on vibrate while using the Law Library.

The entire Law School is a Smoke-Free area. This includes the Law Library.
