Admissions Info/Application for Admission

Thank you for your interest in applying to Villanova University School of Law.  The admissions process is designed to give applicants the opportunity to demonstrate their full abilities.  The School of Law welcomes all to its community, regardless of race, sex, religion or creed, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin, age economic status or disability.  We actively recruit excellent students from diverse backgrounds.  Although selection to the School of Law is highly competitive, the wide range of numerical scores of each year’s matriculating class indicates a class selected using a variety of criteria.  Students interested in the J.D./LL.M. in Taxation or the J.D./M.B.A. in conjunction with Villanova Business School program must apply and be accepted to both the J.D. and the other degree program.

Following are ways in which you may apply to the Law School as a first year applicant:

  1. Apply Online - The Admissions Office prefers to receive online applications.  You may apply online in a secure environment.

  2. Download Application - You may download the application in PDF format using Adobe software.  You will then need to print, complete and mail the application to the School of Law.

Villanova Law School welcomes applications from students who have begun their studies at another ABA accredited law school and wish to transfer to Villanova.

Villanova Law School also accepts applications from visiting non-matriculated students from another ABA accredited law school for a year or a semester depending on an applicant’s situation.

If you would like to be added to our mailing list and receive a copy of our bulletin, please complete and submit the request information form.
