Volunteer Programs
As a
volunteer or participant, you can directly impact the School of Law, its
students, your fellow alumni and the community. We invite you to get involved in
one or more of the programs listed below.
A Day
in the Law
An experiential
program which matches first-year law students, based on their preferred
geographic area and practice setting, with alumni for a day over winter break.
Friends of PIFP
Organized by VLAA and the Villanova Law Public Interest Fellowship Program (PIFP) Steering Committee, Friends of PIFP is a group of alumni dedicated to helping ensure a successful public interest auction (PIFP's major fundraiser) by: 1) generating attendance by urging

Job Search Inspiration Project
A project designed to uplift and empower current students and recent graduates who may be facing a discouraging job market through the collection of job search stories and words of encouragement submitted by Villanova Law alumni.
Lawyering
Together
A service-learning
program which partners law students with alumni to work on a pro bono case
through two public interest organizations in Philadelphia.
Minority Mentoring
A program sponsored by the Minority Alumni Society and Minority Student Associations through which minority alumni serve as mentors to minority students, providing valuable knowledge and insight into the legal and business professions, while also sharing practical advice concerning the challenges of law school.
Reimel
Judging
A
long-standing program at the law school, designed to develop student appellate
advocacy and counseling skills, which seek alumni judges each year.
