Medical Conditions & Insurance; Waiver of Liability
If you are admitted into the Program, you will be required to obtain and carry current medical insurance. Proof of health and hospital insurance will be required before a student may participate in the Program. In addition, you should have written confirmation of your insurance in hand when you enter Italy.
Please note that if you are accepted to the Program, you will be asked to document your physical and psychological fitness to participate in the Program. You will receive materials requesting this information after acceptance into the Program.
Upon acceptance into the Program, you will be required to complete a waiver of liability releasing Villanova and St. Thomas from any liability relating to the Program, and stating that you have consulted with a physician and do not have any physical or psychological impairment that would affect your ability to participate in the Program. You must complete and return the waiver in order to participate in the Program.
